We concluded that we have to share it with you too! as we do not stay here 365 days. The villa is immaculately maintained and staffed by our energetic and faithful Bandara. Kite Surfing
Season: May to October
Kalpitiya is world renowned for it's kitesurfing. Summer time is the best to kitesurf as wind speeds average 18-20 knots.

Season: November to April
Kalpitiya has become a favorite dive location in Sri Lanka. The marine life is flourishing with marine animals and corals in the Kalpitiya area (Indian Ocean) is spectacular.
There are also the Kalpitiya Bar Reef Sanctuary just off the shore of the Kalpitiya peninsula. This is home to over 156 species of coral and 283 species of fish
Dolphin Watching
Season: November to Mid-April
Dolphin watching in Kalpitiya is said to be the best in Sri Lanka. Tours are done early morning, this is where spinner dolphins can be seen in their 1,000's. This is the reason as to why Kalpitiya has become a popular tourist destination. The best thing about Kalpitiya is that you will not have to go deep sea to find them as they run parallel to the Kalpitiya peninsula.
